Kathleen Tran, BScN, MHSc, is CEO and Founder of Zappy Co. Kathleen has spent well over 25 years working in healthcare. She earned her Nursing Degree at Bloomberg School of Nursing, University of Toronto and her Master's Degree in Health Sciences also at the University of Toronto. Kathleen retired from nursing in mid-2019 to focus on her start-up US company, Zappy Co., to research and develop an artificially intelligent robot for dementia care. She received her Certificate for the MIT Sloan Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy Online Program in October 2019.
Zappy Co. is a Delaware Corporation, incorporated on September 10, 2019. Her compassion came from looking after her late mother who suffered a 30 years battle with Pick's disease when Kathleen was only 9 years old.
